Toyota New Corolla VR experience

VR Application
Goal
Toyota wanted to promote their new Corolla from a different perspective. They wanted people to have a very real experience as if they were at the concessionaire and love the car enough to buy.
Problem
Create an interactive and playful experience to discuss a new version of a car, making it persuasive enough to generate interest in buying.

Solution
o create an application with virtual reality (VR) where a person can drive the New Corolla in their garage or anywhere, they should be able to visualize the car with all its details and specifications. It should also be possible to navigate inside and outside the car through movements. Additionally, people should be able to show interest in buying the car and fill out a form to get in touch. With this solution, we had 1,500 downloads on the app store and more than 600 people expressing interest in the car (in Brazil).
My Contributions
The design process was carried out by a UI designer in collaboration with the marketing team. I participated in the entire design process and delivery to the client.
We conducted a benchmark analysis of existing augmented reality applications, both for cars and other services, to understand the experiences and the unique features of each one.
Through this analysis, we identified an important aspect: the horizontal experience added a lot of value to this project. This allowed us to explore other gestures and ways of interacting with the application, similar to car games.

We began with a paper prototype, which we then evolved into an illustrated version and subsequently into a navigable high-fidelity version on Axure. Once we had a high-fidelity prototype, we conducted a qualitative user test to evaluate its usability and collect feedback before finalizing the design.
